GREETING
On behalf of Medical school, Jeju National University and Hospital, we look forward to welcoming you to the 1st Jeju-Mongolia Joint Symposium Neurology & Neurosurgery on 24th May 2024.
This year is a significant and meaningful year as it marks the 1st symposium in Jeju. Now it is time for the festival to begin. Jeju Island is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Korea, and an island located in southwest of the Korean Peninsula. It is the biggest island of Republic of Korea. Basalt rocks cover more than 90% area of this universal volcanic island. An island strategically positioned connecting Continents (Russia, China) and Oceans (Japan, South-East Asia).
A universal recreational island with a beautiful natural landscape received as a gift from nature. The island is oval shaped with Halla Mountain in the center stretching 73km from east to west and 41km from north to south.
The theme of this symposium is ‘New knowledge about neuroscience’.
We have prepared lectures by leaders who are pioneering new fields by changing their ideas based on existing knowledge.
Among this conference staffs, Doctor Chang Yup Shin and Semchin Munkhbayar were scheduled and designed this conference. We would like to thank the academic committee members, general affairs committee members, and executives in each field who worked hard to prepare for the conference despite difficult conditions. We look forward to all members gathering together for a grand symposium at the Jeju National University Hospital.
We wish our members good health.
